HanseMerkur Grundvermögen AG buys “Eschbach Karree” in Bad Homburg
Hamburg June 4, 2019. HanseMerkur Grundvermögen AG has acquired the “Eschbach Karree” in Bad Homburg for its open-ended real estate special fund HMG Grundwerte Wohnen PLUS II, consisting of 32 barrier-free apartments and a 3,000 m² REWE retail store.
As part of the Rhine-Main agglomeration, Bad Homburg benefits from its proximity to Frankfurt and, due to its particularly high quality of life, is a preferred residential area for mostly well-paid commuters. The property is located in the district Ober-Eschbach, about 2.5 km south of the city center in a residential area. A metro station with direct connection to the city center of Frankfurt is about 150 meters away.
Danny Seubert, Investment Manager at HanseMerkur Grundvermögen AG, is satisfied: “The entire environment is ideally suited for living. The between 50 m² and 170 m² large apartments have functional floor plans and good, market-oriented amenities. All apartments are rented, and REWE has also signed a long-term lease – a very attractive property for our second residential real estate fund. ”
