When visiting Non-Network Providers you simply need to pay-and-claim, for medically necessary treatments, services and supplies that are covered.
We removed the need for pre-authorisations when visiting Non-Network Providers to make your life as easy as possible, so you don’t need to call and wait for decisions for every treatment, service or supply. There are however some risks if visiting non-network providers as we have no control over them, so if you are in any doubt about what’s covered, or any treatments or services they are proposing, you can always seek advice by calling the 24/7 Helpline, which can be found on the back of your Membership Card or thru the mobile app. In particular for proposed high cost treatments, services or supplies with non-network providers we always recommend calling the Helpline before proceeding.
